Food Distribution

Welcome! We are thrilled that you want to learn more about working with LIFT-UP and supporting our mission to feed the food insecure from Parachute to Aspen. LIFT-UP relies 100% on volunteers who donate their time to getting food to our guests. We offer in-person and virtual training that prepares you to be the best LIFT-UP volunteer you can be!! Click below to schedule your orientation now or email volunteer@liftup.org.

Fixed Pantries

At these locations, our guests get the opportunity to choose what best fits their dietary needs. Come volunteer to be a personal shopper, or guest registrar, or even come a day early and help prepare the pantry for our guests’ arrival. If you love serving people, this is the place for you.
Drive-Thru Distributions
This is where we take our pantries on the road. Our truck rolls up and food is unloaded and set up for our guests to drive up and have the pre-bagged food loaded, never needing to get out of the vehicle. Come be a loader, registrar, or greeter. If you love to be outside and serve people, this is the place for you.

The Parachute Warehouse

At our warehouse, we prepare for our mobile pantries by bagging dry goods, fresh produce, dairy, eggs, and meat. We enjoy having individuals or groups come and volunteer. One day a week, one time a month, or even bring your group or business to see what food distribution is all about.

THE EXTENDED TABLE – SOUP KITCHEN

Over the years many individuals, groups of friends, business colleagues, churches, and organizations have volunteered 1-5 nights per month at the Extended Table, making it possible for the soup kitchen to be run at a very low annual cost. The volunteer team in charge of the evening also purchases, prepares, and serves the food, along with cleaning up for the night. Are you or your group interested in hosting an Extended Table night?
