of the 6 Garfield County Libraries (Carbondale, Glenwood,
New Castle, Silt, Rifle & Parachute) and receive
$1 credit for each item you donate
against current balance on your library card.
No fines? Please bring in food to help
your neighbors in need!

Donate Canned Meats (tuna, chicken, ham) all great sources of protein!
March: Peanut Butter
March 1st is National Peanut Butter Day – celebrate all month with Peanut Butter donations!
April: Protein/Energy/Granola Bars
Good snacks for kids and adults
May: Beans (canned & dried)
June: Jellies & Jams
July: Nuts (peanuts, pistachios, almonds...)
Nuts are an excellent source of protein!
August: Cereal & Oatmeal (flavored)
Kids need to eat a healthy breakfast to perform best at school.
