The support of the Steere family is beyond generous and we hope that you will take this opportunity to donate to LIFT-UP to ensure we reach our goal of raising $250,000 for the next three years to build LIFT-UP's infrastructure. The Steere Foundation Matching Challenge for 2021 raised $84,624 dollars! Thank you for all of your support!

The William & Lynda Steere Foundation is generously offering $10,000 in matching funds. Each dollar you donate will be doubled! Thank you for helping people in need from Aspen to Parachute. Thank you to Chris Steere and his entire family for their on-going support of this challenge .

Food insecurity does not exist in isolation, as individuals and families are often affected by multiple, overlapping issues, lack of affordable housing, social isolation, chronic or acute health problems, high medical costs, and the ever-increasing cost of living.

To help solve these problems and make it easier for individuals and families to receive fresh, healthy, and sustainable food, LIFT-UP is seeking to increase the development of its infrastructure. Understanding the importance of the need for sufficient refrigeration and transportation, is a key component of our three year strategic plan to increase our food distribution capabilities to those in need by 20%

As the leader of food distribution in the community, LIFT-UP’s goals for the next three years are to increase food distribution annually by 10% and continue to provide an inclusive, equitable and accessible food distribution from Parachute to Aspen.

This can be achieved by the purchase of a mobile pantry of choice allowing LIFT-UP to increase tenfold the weekly distribution of food to families and individuals dealing with food insecurity between Aspen and Parachute. Increased refrigeration storage capacity, allowing for more fresh and culturally sensitive foods to be stored and available for easier distribution throughout our network of fixed site pantries, mobile distributions, and mobile pantry of choice
