Community & Business Partnerships That Make a Difference

LIFT-UP's Community
and Business Program

LIFT-UP is fortunate to be supported by numerous partners, all of whom make a significant difference in helping LIFT-UP reach its goal of being the leader in providing equitable food security for individuals and families: educating, building understanding, and support to end hunger from Parachute to Aspen.

Last year, their support through funding, volunteering, and running of food drives, helped us to serve nearly 50,000 individuals and over 10,500 families. LIFT-UP believes access to fresh, healthy, and sustainable food provides hope and empowerment, strengthening our community. Working together with our community and business partners and thirty local farmers and ranchers, we have been able to secure over 100,000 lbs. of fresh food that help feed those dealing with food insecurity as well as support the local farming economy, while also reducing the carbon footprint within our community.

The ongoing support we receive from our community and business partner is essential if we are to continue to support those in need.  Without this continued support, it would be increasingly hard for LIFT-UP to provide the necessary support for those dealing with food insecurity

THE F2FP PROCESS

Through grants and donations, LIFT-UP will make purchasing commitments to local (Roaring Fork Valley) farms and ranchers as well as regionally for additional produce and dairy.

  • Farmers will have up-front commitments and funding to grow their crops.
  • Fall harvesting will be delivered to LIFT-UP through local distributors (Farm Runners and Skips) to the LIFT-UP Food Pantries.
